Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain distributed data pipelines that ingest, process, and annotate real-world and synthetic audio.
Build and optimize distributed training infrastructure for speech-language models in JAX and PyTorch, including supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning at scale.
Develop automated evaluation, testing, and experimentation systems for model accuracy, audio quality, latency, and real-time performance.
Integrate voice models into production applications and real-time services, define technical specifications for spoken interactions, and own deployment from prototype to global scale.
Profile and optimize training and inference performance across throughput, latency, memory usage, and compute efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or another engineering discipline.
Production-quality programming experience in Python, PyTorch, JAX, Rust, or C++.
At least 2 years of experience working with large-scale voice-related products.
Preferred experience with distributed training and inference systems on Kubernetes.
Expert-level Python experience building clean, efficient, production-quality code for large-scale systems.
Preferred experience optimizing model training and inference software in JAX or PyTorch.
Preferred experience building automated testing, evaluation, and A/B experimentation pipelines for production systems.
Preferred hands-on experience building distributed data processing systems with Spark and Ray.

Base salary range is $220,000-$357,000 USD.
