Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship scalable front-end features using TypeScript and Angular.
Build and evolve documented, versioned REST API contracts and consuming interfaces.
Own production health by investigating customer issues with Support and QA and implementing fixes and monitoring improvements.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and backend engineers during Agile development cycles.
Estimate work, deliver sprint commitments, communicate blockers, and manage updates in Jira and team channels.
Shepherd merge requests through code review while maintaining linting, test coverage, and documentation standards.
Debug issues across browser components, APIs, and data layers using tools such as Datadog.
Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using JUnit, Jasmine, and Cypress.
Use AI coding assistants securely for scaffolding, testing, and debugging while verifying output and protecting proprietary data.

Requirements

3–5 years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining modern, scalable web applications in production B2B SaaS or enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Angular, or modern component-based frameworks such as React or Vue with the ability to ramp up in an Angular codebase.
Practical experience consuming RESTful APIs, mocking endpoints, and managing complex front-end state aligned with relational backend data.
Daily experience writing automated unit and end-to-end tests, including Cypress and Jasmine.
Foundational understanding of client-side web security, including OWASP Top 10, role-based access control, and input sanitization.
Practical experience with AI tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, or ChatGPT and sound judgment regarding hallucinations and data privacy.
Ability to commute to LogicGate’s Chicago headquarters and work on-site regularly for collaboration and team activities.
Preferred familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, or querying relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Preferred experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, configurable workflow engines, low-code builders, data governance, browser performance, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
