Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deliver in-game client features for VALORANT.
  • Collaborate with producers, game designers, and UX experts.
  • Own features from in-game implementation through backend service implementation.
  • Design, build, and deliver large-scale backend services supporting millions of players.
  • Build and support live game services, including an on-call commitment.
  • Use analytics and community feedback to help maintain fair play and positive player experiences.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer.
  • BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise with C++, C#, Java, Golang, or similar programming languages.
  • Professional experience with cloud computing and cloud technologies is desired.
  • Professional experience building large-scale backend systems or game services is desired.
  • Professional experience building player- or user-facing frontend experiences is desired.
  • Experience with social systems in large-scale multiplayer games is desired.
  • Professional or hobby experience with Unreal Engine is desired.
