Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack in UK

Responsibilities

  • Design and build full-stack web applications supporting end-to-end automation and test infrastructure.
  • Integrate AI capabilities and LLM-driven experiences into new and existing toolsets.
  • Develop APIs and microservices for test and quality workflows.
  • Deploy, scale, and monitor highly available services in cloud environments using Kubernetes.
  • Build frontend and backend systems focused on performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define and deliver tooling.
  • Own technical architecture and evaluate design alternatives and trade-offs.
  • Document requirements, product behavior, technical constraints, and system designs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve performance, reliability, and adoption.
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor less experienced engineers through technical guidance and architectural reviews.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with production web applications and backend services.
  • Strong Python programming skills.
  • Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Frontend experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Next.js, React, and MUI.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, and REST API design and integration.
  • Experience with test-driven development, CI/CD workflows, Jenkins, and GitLab.
  • Experience integrating Skills, Agents, MCP Servers, or RAG pipelines.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization approaches including OpenID and SAML.
  • Experience deploying cloud-native services on AWS with containerized infrastructure and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
  • Demonstrated AI and agentic-tooling fluency, including the ability to use tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, MCP servers, custom skills, or agentic frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, independent working, and adaptability skills.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
