Senior Frontend Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable React and TypeScript features and interactive visualizations for real-time cyber operation data.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture and design decisions while owning significant features from design review through production.
  • Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Identify and address performance issues, technical debt, and reliability gaps.
  • Collaborate with backend, product, design, and operations teams to deliver integrated features.
  • Support other engineers through pairing and practical feedback.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of professional frontend software development experience.
  • Strong production-tested expertise in React.js and TypeScript, plus modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS fundamentals.
  • Experience building and shipping high-performance features at scale, including profiling, optimization, and rendering strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Experience with state management patterns or libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query.
  • Experience with modern build tooling such as Vite or Webpack and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong professional Git experience, including branch workflows, code review, and CI integration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Effective collaboration with product and design teams.
  • Preferred experience with complex data visualization, graph databases or Neo4j, real-time streaming data, defense or security domains, AI/ML operational interfaces, or component libraries and design systems such as Storybook.
