Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production use.
  • Own the full Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
  • Build, tune, and evolve AI agents that address customer and business needs at enterprise scale.
  • Work directly with enterprise leaders and startups to understand challenges and embed AI agents across their businesses.
  • Develop generalizable agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, new agent architectures, and generative agent features.
  • Experiment with voice models and integrate them into enterprise-grade customer solutions.
  • Use customer feedback to prototype platform tools and shape Sierra’s product with research, product, and platform teams.

Requirements

  • Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
  • A builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and the ability to overcome obstacles and ship.
  • Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
  • Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
  • Preferred experience as a founder or founding engineer.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
  • Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
  • Previous customer-facing experience or experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders is preferred.
