Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
  • Build interactive data explorers, topic pages, natural-language search interfaces, and AI-powered user experiences.
  • Implement advanced data visualizations with D3.js and SVG, including maps, timelines, scatter plots, ranking tables, zooming, brushing, tooltips, and linked charts.
  • Create conversational interfaces, streaming LLM experiences, agent workflow interfaces, and generative UI components.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, Flask, and Mixer APIs.
  • Manage application state and URL-based state serialization for shareable views.
  • Ensure applications are responsive, accessible, performant, and reliable.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests and collaborate through GitHub pull requests and code reviews.

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript ES6+.
  • Strong experience with React Hooks, state management, component architecture, and complex production-grade frontend applications.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design.
  • Hands-on experience with D3.js and SVG for interactive data visualization, including dashboards, charts, or data exploration interfaces.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST/JSON APIs and managing client-side state and URL serialization.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards, including WCAG.
  • Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, frontend testing practices, Git, GitHub, and pull request workflows.
  • Professional English communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with LLM-powered applications, AI chat interfaces, copilots, conversational search, AI agents, Agentic UX, Gemini API, Google Agent Development Kit, Model Context Protocol, prompt engineering, Python, Flask, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, knowledge graphs, Schema.org, JSON-LD, RDF, Webpack, npm, yarn, Bazel, Percy, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, or Google Kubernetes Engine.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing, automated testing environments, or open-source contributions is preferred.
