Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade full-stack applications using Python and React JS.
  • Build and deploy AI/ML-enabled solutions on GCP for metadata management, data controls, data quality checks, and risk detection.
  • Develop scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven services using Flask, FastAPI, or Django with GCP services.
  • Create responsive frontend applications using React JS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives as a strong individual contributor.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit and integration testing, documentation, and secure development activities.
  • Support regulatory and risk management requirements including BCBS 239, Internal Risk Rating, and enterprise data governance.

Requirements

  • Extensive enterprise experience in full-stack software development with strong hands-on Python and React JS expertise.
  • Strong proficiency with Flask, FastAPI, or Django and frontend development using React JS, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
  • Proven experience building and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.
  • Hands-on production experience implementing AI/ML solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn, with awareness of MLOps practices.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, GraphQL, event-driven systems, and SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, clean code, and cloud-native engineering practices.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, Pytest, and Jest.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills, including experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban teams.
