Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, review, and test software features and user stories.
  • Contribute to core data platform development and integration projects across multiple systems.
  • Design scalable backend services, prototypes, cloud-native solutions, and microservices-based applications.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and engineers to analyze, refine, and document technical requirements.
  • Process, organize, and enrich large volumes of data for reporting, analytics, AI, and data science initiatives.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools, code assistants, prompting techniques, and modern engineering workflows.
  • Maintain operational and technical documentation and improve engineering processes, quality, and team effectiveness.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience in a commercial software environment.
  • Strong programming experience with Python and its ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with SQL and relational database technologies.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices architectures, cloud platforms, and cloud-native development, preferably AWS.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools.
  • Experience with AI-powered development tools, code assistants, prompting techniques, or agent-based workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, ownership, workload-management, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
  • Preferred experience with data warehouses, data lakes, event-driven architectures, Airflow, Spark, dbt, CDK, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, container technologies, cloud deployments, GitHub Actions, Git, GitHub, and GitFlow.
