Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sophisticated frontend applications and integrate them with backend APIs and services.
  • Collaborate with Product, Backend, Mobile, and QA engineers to deliver functional, scalable, and high-quality software.
  • Lead or participate in Scrum activities including stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor team members throughout the software development lifecycle and contribute to frontend chapter initiatives.
  • Define test cases, support automated and manual testing, and help ensure release quality.
  • Conduct code reviews and improve codebase health, architecture, and engineering practices.
  • Use CI/CD tools to automate testing and deployment processes.
  • Optimize web performance using metrics such as Core Web Vitals, TTFB, TTI, and FCP.
  • Produce documentation for development processes, architecture, and code changes.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on frontend development.
  • Familiarity with major JavaScript frameworks; React JS experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, including ES2023, asynchronous programming, and concurrent rendering concepts.
  • Experience with software development, design, architecture, web application design, and state management solutions.
  • Good practical knowledge of OOP concepts and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with Agile practices, pairing, TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Understanding of common web application security vulnerabilities, performance issues, and debugging techniques.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Strong customer focus, communication skills, and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Next.js 15 and features such as server components, streaming, and advanced static site generation are a plus.
