Responsibilities

Develop low-level software for processor peripherals and avionics communication interfaces.
Write and debug device drivers for spacecraft sensors, actuators, and other components.
Implement onboard control algorithms and fault detection and response logic.
Own mission-critical satellite software from architecture and development through deployment and operations.
Develop rapid software for bench and development testing and rigorously validated software for manufacturing and flight systems.
Plan and execute unit, integration, and system-level testing while diagnosing and resolving defects.
Collaborate with systems, hardware, test, and operations teams on requirements, technical roadmaps, and execution.
Support spacecraft commissioning during launch and early operations and troubleshoot critical flight systems.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship or the ability to access export-controlled data.
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access and SAP eligibility.
8+ years of experience writing C/C++ for embedded systems, ideally involving spacecraft, robotics, automotive, or other physical-world hardware.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
Strong proficiency in C++, Python, or Rust.
