Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable Selenium-based automation frameworks using Katalon Studio and reusable test assets.
Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, smoke, and API test suites.
Monitor automated test runs, investigate failures and flaky tests, and provide actionable defect reports.
Optimize test execution, test data management, environment validation, and automation feedback cycles.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, quality engineers, and domain stakeholders on acceptance criteria and quality gates.
Perform root cause analysis and improve automation scripts, code, and testing processes.
Document automation frameworks, test strategies, and execution guidelines.
Define and use quality metrics such as defect escape rate and automation coverage.
Evaluate automation tools and techniques and mentor other quality engineers on Selenium practices.
Ensure test automation activities follow company security and compliance standards.

Requirements

Strong hands-on knowledge of Core Java and Advanced Java is mandatory.
Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio, Selenium-based automation, Spring Boot, and REST Assured is required.
Experience creating and running automated API test scripts is required.
Experience with GitHub for code management and CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment processes is required or preferred.
Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and test data management principles is required.
Ability to design, develop, debug, and maintain clean, modular, scalable automation code and frameworks.
Experience investigating automation failures, flaky tests, and quality gaps is required.
Effective communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and documentation skills are required.
Travel or airline domain experience, including booking, check-in, or operational workflows, is preferred.
Familiarity with automation frameworks and experience mentoring quality engineers are preferred.
