Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain reliable web systems and Windows applications.
Write maintainable code, test features, document processes, and deliver functionality based on project specifications.
Optimize and maintain existing systems for performance and scalability.
Perform data analysis, investigate system issues, analyze business requirements, and deliver automated solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate systems using web services, REST APIs, JIRA, Salesforce, MS Office, and business process automation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in client/server web programming, database programming, web/graphic design, and office automation.
At least 3 years of server-side programming experience with C#, ASP.NET, Classic ASP, and Python.
At least 3 years of database design, optimization, and programming experience with MS-SQL/Oracle, TSQL, and PLSQL.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, and JSON.
At least 3 years of scripting and automation experience with PowerShell, VBScript, and Windows batch scripts.
Practical knowledge of .NET, Team Foundation Server, GIT, web services, SharePoint, business intelligence tools, PowerShell, and LDAP.
Understanding of procedural programming, object-oriented programming/design, and translating UI/UX mockups and prototypes into web applications.
Experience with REST APIs, JIRA, Salesforce, MS Office integrations, and business process automation.
Preferred: experience with Claude Cowork, Model Context Protocol-compatible servers or clients, LLM integrations, AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and agentic workflows.
Preferred: strong interest in end-user-focused web application design, independent workload management, and collaborative communication.

Temporary six-month contract based in San Jose, California.
Hourly pay range of $35 to $48 per hour.
