UX Test Engineer - New Grad in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement validation scripts covering user journeys, edge cases, and visual consistency.
  • Develop and maintain automated UI test suites using Selenium or Appium.
  • Collaborate with UX Designers and Product Managers to refine requirements and provide feedback on design prototypes.
  • Identify, reproduce, and track UI/UX defects through their lifecycle using Jira or similar tracking systems.
  • Validate software usability, accessibility, and interface performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, HMI, UX Design, or a related field, with graduation by December 2026.
  • Foundational knowledge of manual and automated software testing methodologies.
  • Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, and responsive layout validation.
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills.
