Responsibilities

Build database Docker images across different database engines for developer use.
Develop SQL code with a focus on quality and performance optimization.
Set up, migrate, and re-architect production databases to support business growth.
Monitor production databases for unusual behavior, resource usage, traffic, and capacity issues.
Coordinate with engineering teams to optimize query performance.
Research and implement automation tools for installation, upgrades, database deployment, and anomaly detection.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of database design concepts, ER diagrams, and SQL queries.
Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Preferred: knowledge of database high availability or query performance tuning.
Preferred: knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
Preferred: practical knowledge of database management, Windows, PowerShell, Linux, and shell scripting.
Preferred: proficiency in Python.
