Responsibilities

Develop and improve web-based user interfaces for system status, health monitoring, facility configuration, alerts, events, and diagnostics.
Assist in building backend services for real-time and historical facility data, configuration, metadata, and system state.
Integrate UI applications, backend APIs, controls systems, facility systems, and data pipelines.
Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and help test, debug, and validate software used in live environments.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; junior, senior, or graduate students are preferred.
Coursework or experience in software development fundamentals and web or backend programming.
Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Python.
Basic understanding of client-server applications, APIs, data flow, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
Able to work full time onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning between mid-May and mid-June 2027.
Bonus qualifications include React or other modern UI frameworks, REST or event-based APIs, Git, Docker, time-series or telemetry data, industrial systems, automation, controls, data visualization, MATLAB, CAD software, or Excel.
Six or more months of prior internship, co-op, or extracurricular academic project experience and a GPA of 3.5 or above are additional bonus qualifications.
