Assist with designing and implementing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable software systems in C++ and Python.
Contribute to system architecture, design decisions, performance trade-offs, and technology selection.
Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
Help build and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
Work with senior engineers on complex and ambiguous technical problems across multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
Be a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Demonstrate proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
Have strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and system design.
Be collaborative, eager to learn, and comfortable in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
Preferred qualifications include exposure to distributed systems, observability tooling, infrastructure as code, Python data pipelines, automation, backend services, C++ performance optimization, profiling, Linux system programming, threading models, IPC, or low-level kernel interfaces.
Preferred evidence of exceptional ability includes prior projects, a portfolio, or completed products.
Be able to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
Benefits
Hourly pay of $32–$46, depending on the candidate’s current standing in school.
Monthly housing stipend for interns.
