Responsibilities

Lead development of product features, experiments, technical initiatives, and complex backend systems.
Shape architecture decisions, provide technical leadership, and influence and coach distributed engineers.
Improve system architecture, software design, code quality, and engineering practices.
Drive agile and scrum ways of working and improve team productivity through KPI-driven practices.
Collaborate with backend, client-side, and infrastructure teams to deliver technical solutions.
Write high-quality maintainable code and influence technical decisions across the organization.

Requirements

10+ years of experience building performance-critical production applications using a JVM technology stack such as Java, Scala, or Kotlin.
Proven experience leading projects, technical initiatives, or engineering teams with full ownership of systems.
Hands-on experience with data platforms such as SQL, Cassandra, or Hadoop.
Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, software architecture, and architectural decision-making.
Demonstrated excellence in software development and coding.
Ability to improve team productivity and effectiveness through KPI-driven engineering practices.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Passion for software craftsmanship, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.
