Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day engineering operations and delivery for the Core Engineering full-stack team.
Drive architecture decisions across front-end and back-end systems.
Own and evolve the product design system for consistency, reuse, and quality.
Lead modernization efforts across core platform infrastructure and established codebases.
Provide hands-on solutions to complex full-stack technical challenges.
Oversee the design and maintenance of reliable, performant APIs.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders on roadmaps, delivery commitments, and resource planning.
Mentor engineers through coaching, pair programming, and code reviews.
Identify, prioritize, and address technical debt during sprint and quarterly planning.
Promote AI-driven development practices and tooling to improve engineering productivity.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in full-stack or combined front-end and back-end software development.
2+ years of experience leading a software development team as a Tech Lead or in a similar leadership capacity.
Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and design systems.
Experience modernizing large, established full-stack codebases.
Experience with object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, risk mitigation, SaaS product roadmaps, project planning, and execution.
Hands-on experience in Agile development environments and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred experience with Backbone.js, Dropwizard or Spring Boot, Java, SQL and NoSQL databases, Microsoft Azure or AWS, and front-end testing frameworks such as Playwright.
Storybook and Selenium experience is a plus.
