Staff Software Engineer, Web (React) in Remote

Responsibilities

  • Build clean, performant, maintainable frontend web applications.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to other engineers, including junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver customer experiences.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain engineering standards and code quality.
  • Own frontend delivery for small to medium features and larger roadmap projects.
  • Author technical specifications, contribute to delivery planning, and guide implementation through final delivery.
  • Identify and lead technical initiatives involving technical debt, dependencies, systems, or performance improvements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience planning, building, and releasing frontend applications with web technologies.
  • Experience building web applications with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
  • Preferred experience as a full-stack engineer.
  • Preferred experience with Node.js and large codebases.
  • Preferred experience building or maintaining an internal UI library.
  • Preferred communication and project management skills for cross-functional collaboration.
