Responsibilities

Set the technical direction and influence the engineering roadmap for the platform’s streaming capabilities.
Design and lead implementation of complex, critical systems for data-intensive use cases.
Research and champion technologies and architectural patterns for strategic scaling challenges.
Lead cross-functional initiatives and ensure technical alignment and execution across teams.
Improve observability, reliability, scalability, and operational practices for platform systems.
Coach and mentor senior engineers and act as a technical leader across the engineering organization.
Collaborate with product teams and other stakeholders.

Requirements

7+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Experience with Golang or Java is preferred.
Hands-on experience designing, developing, and tuning highly scalable, event-driven systems.
Solid understanding of database fundamentals and experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka.
Passion and interest in building highly reliable, maintainable, scalable, and secure systems.
Experience with TypeScript and React is an extra qualification.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker is an extra qualification.
Familiarity with or interest in the Identity and Access Management business domain is an extra qualification.
