Responsibilities

Establish and serve as the foundational technical leader for the Provider Onboarding Engineering team.
Drive product architecture and operational/process-based solutions for provider onboarding.
Build scalable tools and systems supporting pricing, payments, client panels, forms, and related workflows.
Lead all phases of development, including planning, specification, execution, measurement, and post-launch maintenance.
Mentor engineers, review architectures, and establish design patterns.
Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to deliver complex, sustainable solutions.
Investigate complex issues and independently drive them to resolution, including through on-call participation.

Requirements

8+ years of professional experience.
At least 1 year working on healthcare or equivalent systems.
At least 1 year helping form a new team from scratch.
Experience working on cross-functional teams and bridging technical and non-technical groups.
Full-stack experience building modern SQL or NoSQL database-backed web applications.
Experience developing microservices.
Experience mentoring others, reviewing architectures, and establishing design patterns.
Experience driving the full software development lifecycle.
Experience delivering highly complex projects with sustainable results.
Preferred: startup experience.
Preferred: experience developing SaaS applications on Amazon Web Services.
Preferred: experience with products requiring high reliability or accuracy, such as finance or mission-critical systems.
Preferred: on-call experience and the ability to resolve complex issues independently.
Preferred: experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and Kafka.
