Responsibilities

  • Lead and elevate native iOS engineering practices across the Digital domain.
  • Define architecture for scalable, modular, maintainable, and testable mobile applications.
  • Champion Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, accessibility, performance, security, reliability, and Apple platform best practices.
  • Make architectural decisions and translate them into pragmatic, production-ready solutions.
  • Mentor and guide engineers in writing clean, maintainable, well-tested Swift code.
  • Monitor application health using crash analytics and observability tools.
  • Collaborate with backend, AI, and platform teams to integrate Python-based Agentic LLM services into secure mobile experiences.
  • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders on technical roadmaps and innovation initiatives.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud operations, and engineering excellence practices.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience building native iOS applications with Swift and strong proficiency in SwiftUI and UIKit.
  • Deep understanding of iOS architecture patterns, modularisation, concurrency, performance optimisation, memory management, accessibility, inclusive design, and secure mobile development.
  • Experience with app health monitoring, crash analytics, and observability tools including AppD, Firebase, AppDynamics, Observe, and Obstack.
  • Experience building feature-based, modular mobile architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of Apple Human Interface Guidelines and platform conventions.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including Artifactory, GitHub, and GitHub Actions, plus familiarity with public cloud environments; AWS is preferred.
  • Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs and backend integrations.
  • Technical leadership experience influencing design decisions and providing architectural guidance.
  • Full-cycle engineering capability with a focus on engineering excellence, code quality, and knowledge sharing.
  • Exposure to Next.js, TypeScript, and React, and familiarity with .NET environments, is desirable.
