Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain the Hubs runtime platform using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Ruby.
  • Design scalable user interfaces using microfrontend concepts and improve templating systems for Hub experiences.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams on large-scale platform initiatives.
  • Develop team technical standards and operational processes.
  • Provide 24/7 production support for UIs and services to achieve 99.99% uptime.
  • Monitor and tune alerts and respond to production incidents.
  • Build continuous integration and continuous delivery systems for deterministic releases.
  • Recommend technical investments to improve production stability, performance, and scalability.
  • Mentor junior developers in technical and professional skills.
  • Support leadership in balancing short- and long-term technical goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, test-driven development, and UI/API design.
  • Preferred experience with Ruby on Rails, Node.js, React, and TypeScript.
  • 5+ years of experience monitoring systems, tuning alerts, and responding to production alerts.
  • Experience working remotely with distributed teams.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
