Responsibilities

Serve as the subject matter expert across relevant business and technical domains.
Lead the planning, execution, and release of complex technical projects across multiple teams.
Own medium to large features or infrastructure projects from technical design through completion.
Collaborate with partners, product managers, and designers to solve challenging problems.
Lead and mentor engineers and engineering teams, establish best practices, and set team direction.
Ensure delivery of large or complex technology capabilities across one or more domains.
Identify and mitigate cross-team project risks and foster collaboration with engineering teams and internal customers.
Drive functional-group and organization-wide technical outcomes.
Influence technical and product roadmap prioritization and process improvements.
Identify and reduce failure domains and build software that minimizes maintenance effort and business impact during failures.
Guide the development of Service-Level Objectives for supported systems.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
5+ years of experience leading cross-pod or cross-company deliverables.
5+ years of experience leading technical contributions and improving the quality of team output.
5+ years of practical application of computer science concepts within a team.
5+ years of setting and enforcing standards for stable, correct, and maintainable code.
5+ years of leading technical teams, including mentoring and training junior engineers.
