Responsibilities

  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership, coaching, and direction for distributed engineering teams.
  • Own and launch customer-facing features end to end across the full technology stack.
  • Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
  • Oversee mobile application and backend development while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Lead high-ambiguity projects and facilitate alignment on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
  • Solve complex scaling problems and produce high-quality code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
  • 5 years of full-stack development experience across backend codebases such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++.
  • 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms preferred.
  • 3 years of experience leading project teams and setting technical direction preferred.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed, cross-functional or cross-business organization preferred.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and managing multidimensional data at scale preferred.
