Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of major product capabilities from problem definition through implementation, rollout, and production operation.
Design secure, reliable, and scalable systems with explicit trust boundaries and requirements for security, privacy, performance, reliability, and usability.
Lead complex investigations and improve engineering practices, testing, and operational readiness.
Mentor engineers and provide technical direction through design and code reviews.
Partner with product and research teams and contribute to technical strategy and long-term architecture.

Requirements

At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including ownership of complex production systems and technically ambiguous cross-functional projects.
Strong proficiency in Go, Rust, and Python.
Deep expertise in systems engineering, distributed systems, security engineering, backend platforms, or endpoint software.
Understanding of concurrency, networking, storage, APIs, and operational observability, with experience designing systems meeting security, privacy, and reliability requirements.
Experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions.
Preferred experience building security, cloud, enterprise, or endpoint software for Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
Preferred familiarity with AI applications, agents, developer platforms, AI security, security policy, detection, analysis, or software supply-chain systems.
