Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve organization-wide observability with Prometheus/Mimir, the Grafana LGTM stack, Elastic/OTEL, and Site24x7.
  • Steer cloud migration and improve the reliability and performance of services.
  • Own patching compliance and vulnerability remediation across a mixed on-premises and AWS fleet while meeting SLA targets.
  • Operate and extend a multi-tenant Kubernetes/ArgoCD platform, including migrating core services.
  • Develop AI-assisted automation such as Prometheus alert-based runbooks and ServiceNow change-risk scoring.
  • Provide advanced incident support and consult with development teams on metrics, alert thresholds, and monitoring standards.
  • Mentor engineers and help mature operational practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on AWS experience in cloud-native and cloud-agnostic environments.
  • 5+ years of Kubernetes experience, including platforms such as EKS, AKS, GKE, or Fargate.
  • 4+ years of Linux administration experience.
  • Strong coding skills in Go, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Ansible, CDK, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts, version control systems, and testing tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, or Maven.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL, is preferred.
  • Experience developing and maintaining distributed infrastructure and systems is preferred.
  • Understanding of networking principles and cybersecurity guidelines is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.
