Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end SecOps and threat-management initiatives aligned with the Security roadmap.
Monitor for and respond to complex security incidents, including system compromises, intrusion attempts, and denial-of-service attacks.
Conduct continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessments, log analysis, security forensics, and root-cause analysis.
Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors and implement mitigating controls.
Build security tools and advanced automation for the Security team.
Plan and lead threat exercises based on security trends, advisories, publications, and academic research.
Mentor Information Security engineers and communicate risks and mitigations to varied audiences.
Maintain runbooks, workflows, dashboards, and handbook pages; provide project updates and participate in the Security Operations on-call rotation.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience on a Security Operations or similar team.
At least 3 years of experience developing automation.
At least 2 years of experience conducting adversary-emulation exercises.
Experience with security tools, vulnerability scanners, SIEM, SOAR, and cloud environments such as AWS.
Experience with security frameworks, regulations, and standards including MITRE ATT&CK, STRIDE, PASTA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI, SOX, and NIST.
A related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.

Salary: $231k - $266k/yr
