Responsibilities

  • Plan and design test methodologies for cloud-based enterprise wireless networks.
  • Develop test strategies and execute tests with various functional groups.
  • Thoroughly test cloud-based wireless product features and solutions.
  • Identify defects, collaborate with developers on debugging and root-cause analysis, and drive defects to closure.
  • Recommend software improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Work with the automation team to develop feature automation test scripts.
  • Set up testbeds and analyze RF data and packet captures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 12 years of experience in networking domains including VLANs, switches, TCP/IP, and DHCP.
  • 3 to 12 years of experience with Wi-Fi 802.11 technology and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Proven experience with NMS and/or cloud-managed enterprise networks.
  • Hands-on experience with RF equipment, tools, sniffers, and packet-capture analysis.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON data.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Jira infrastructure tools.
  • Testbed setup experience.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi 11ax and 6E products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch, including SQL/NoSQL databases, is a plus.
