Staff FrontEnd Engineer - Platform in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, operate, and evolve reliable full-stack web applications, customer-facing account portals, backend services, and APIs for usage and billing workflows.
  • Develop frontend interfaces with TypeScript and React and backend APIs with Golang and Node.js.
  • Build integrations with NetSuite, Salesforce, AWS, Azure, GCP, and other cloud marketplace systems.
  • Automate usage metering, pricing, promotions, billing reconciliation, provisioning, and related business logic.
  • Collaborate with product management, DealOps, GTM, Support, UX, and adjacent engineering squads on end-to-end delivery.
  • Improve technical debt, test coverage, CI/CD pipelines, observability, operational resilience, runbooks, dashboards, alerts, rollout controls, and recovery procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, lead major projects, contribute to roadmap and technical design decisions, and participate in production support and OnCall improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of fully remote work experience.
  • Experience working on a large SaaS platform and addressing distributed-systems concerns such as scalability, multi-tenancy, data isolation, and high availability.
  • Strong professional experience with Golang, Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
  • Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and ideation through product launch in a self-directed manner.
  • Ability to write clean, robust, well-tested, maintainable software and break complex work into modular, iterative solutions.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative asynchronous environment.
  • Strong Kubernetes experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Helm, Terraform, or Jsonnet.
  • Bonus experience with high-volume usage metering, billing engines, cost-management applications, third-party business integrations, frontend component libraries, design systems, SaaS provisioning, tenancy patterns, or incident response involving partial failures and state mismatches.
