Staff Control Platform and Verification in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Define test strategies and architectures for new controls features and systems.
  • Translate requirements and system designs into test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
  • Read and analyze Simulink models, Stateflow charts, and generated or handwritten C code.
  • Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines for model builds, code generation, static analysis, and automated testing.
  • Support toolchains that generate, compile, and deploy Simulink and MATLAB code across multiple targets, including HIL hardware.
  • Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Python, scripting, MATLAB/Simulink, and CAPL.
  • Execute MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing and analyze logs, telemetry, and vehicle CAN data.
  • Provide developer infrastructure support to controls engineers and resolve tooling, build, and test-infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with software, firmware, systems, and vehicle teams on integration issues, defect triage, and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related engineering field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in embedded or automotive test engineering or developer infrastructure roles.
  • Ability to understand Simulink models, Stateflow charts, and generated or handwritten C code.
  • Strong experience with MIL, SIL, HIL, and vehicle testing.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or similar tools.
  • Experience with test automation and scripting in MATLAB, Python, CAPL, and Shell.
  • Experience maintaining test frameworks as codebases evolve.
  • Demonstrated experience with vehicle CAN networks, LIN, and UDS.
  • Experience with debugging tools, telemetry analysis, and issue triage.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary: $225k - $275k/yr
