Responsibilities

Design, prototype, and build production-ready agentic workflows, orchestration layers, and tool-calling integrations.
Move AI prototypes into scalable, low-latency production microservices on Azure.
Implement MCP, advanced RAG patterns, vector pipelines, structured LLM outputs, and related AI standards.
Establish LLMOps practices for experiment tracking, evaluations, prompt engineering, latency optimization, token governance, and model observability.
Benchmark emerging models, tools, and architectures and translate useful developments into production implementations.
Lead technical design reviews, set coding standards, mentor agent-focused engineering squads, and support team growth.

Requirements

Proven experience building agentic systems with frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Agents SDK, or custom orchestration frameworks.
Practical experience with MCP, tool or function calling, structured LLM outputs, complex RAG pipelines, vector retrieval, hybrid search, and embeddings.
Experience with evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering, tracing, context-window optimization, and compute or token governance in production.
High proficiency in Python and strong object-oriented programming experience.
Experience building and scaling backend microservices and REST/OpenAPI endpoints in Azure or comparable enterprise cloud environments.
Familiarity with vector databases, relational databases, and event-driven systems such as Azure Service Bus and Kafka.
Comfort with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, testing methodologies, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
Strong hands-on software engineering, architecture, communication, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
