Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of centralized developer portals, platform tooling, and infrastructure components.
Architect redundant and scalable build and release infrastructure, including artifact storage, source control, parallel build execution, and vendor maintenance.
Drive migration to Bazel, including remote execution, to improve build speed and reliability.
Own and improve the AWS footprint, including multi-region availability, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency.
Define Infrastructure as Code standards using Terraform and Atlantis and maintain reusable modules across the engineering organization.
Remediate legacy infrastructure and process gaps and bring resources under consistent Infrastructure as Code management.
Build and support clean, fast-starting mobile CI environments for iOS and Android applications, including Veertu Anka.
Improve GitLab and CI pipelines through automation, monitoring, controls, and version standards.
Develop and optimize Kubernetes operators and controllers for highly available stateful services.
Build automated security controls and policy-as-code for platform compliance.
Improve developer experience by identifying infrastructure friction and building intuitive tools.
Mentor engineers through reviews, pair programming, technical leadership, and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with engineering teams in an agile Scrum environment on requirements, dependencies, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
Expert proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, including reusable modules and state management at scale.
Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals, networking, storage, and service mesh architectures.
Production experience implementing GitOps workflows with ArgoCD or Flux.
Strong automation and scripting experience with technologies such as Python, Bash, or GoLang.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM, compute, networking, and storage layers.
Experience designing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and build systems at scale.
Experience with GitLab, Bazel, or mobile iOS/Android builds is preferred.
Ability to establish and enforce engineering standards across an organization.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to peers, leadership, and stakeholders.
Experience leading architectural discussions and decisions collaboratively.
Track record of mentoring engineers and sharing technical knowledge.
