Responsibilities

Lead technical discussions, identify gaps in the telematics data platform, set technical direction, and influence the roadmap.
Collaborate across engineering teams on system design, dependencies, and downstream product implications.
Build and ship customer-facing full-stack features across frontend, backend, and mobile tiers.
Maintain owned production systems and provide operational support.
Shape core architecture, roadmap, and the wider engineering community.
Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing engineering team.
Use AI tools extensively for design, implementation, testing, investigations, and engineering workflow improvement.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant engineering experience, including hands-on work building and operating complex enterprise systems.
Experience translating partially defined customer or business challenges into technical direction, execution plans, and measurable outcomes with substantial autonomy.
Strong system design judgment covering service boundaries, dependencies, failure modes, performance, and safe production changes.
Experience owning a critical system or coordinating delivery across multiple services and teams while balancing immediate needs with long-term architecture.
Ability to improve engineers’ effectiveness through mentoring, design reviews, and clear technical decisions.
Extensive use of AI in engineering, including complex investigations and design exploration, with the ability to validate results and help teammates adopt effective workflows.
Preferred experience includes customer-facing web and mobile workflow applications, reporting and data systems, enterprise administration, developer and agent platforms, billing and monetization, or full-stack product development.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
