Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack software solutions using Java and Python.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of distributed systems for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Own feature delivery from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production support.
  • Build RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, and service-to-service integrations.
  • Improve coding standards, testing, documentation, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and developer productivity.
  • Design for scalability, resilience, and observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Contribute to containerization, infrastructure-as-code, auto-scaling, and cloud-native adoption.
  • Debug complex issues, identify bottlenecks, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership through reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Influence technical direction and deliver high-impact outcomes aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong Java expertise and working knowledge of Python for backend or data-driven applications.
  • Deep experience with Java ecosystems and frameworks such as Spring or Spring Boot.
  • Full-stack development experience with backend services and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architectures, distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, messaging and streaming platforms, and cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with test data generation, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, API design standards, OpenAPI or Swagger, versioning, and contract-driven development.
  • Preferred basic understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development lifecycle practices.
