Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Python automation frameworks for controlling and monitoring hardware test benches.
Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI, for continuous testing and rapid deployment.
Assemble, configure, and maintain computer systems and physical hardware test rigs.
Administer, patch, and tune Linux-based test environments.
Triage test bench failures across software, network, and hardware layers.
Collaborate with test engineers and firmware/software teams to define automation requirements and integrate hardware.
Monitor system health and pipeline performance, resolve bottlenecks and recurring failures, and document tooling and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements

8+ years of experience writing Python for automation, scripting, or hardware/CLI interaction.
Experience working in Linux environments with shell scripting, file permissions, and package management.
Hands-on experience assembling or maintaining physical computer hardware.
Ability to troubleshoot and isolate root causes across software, network, and hardware layers under time pressure.
Preferred experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions; Linux monitoring and observability tooling; hardware test benches or QA lab infrastructure; network troubleshooting; and cross-functional work with firmware, software, or DevOps teams.

Salary: $147k - $202k/yr
