Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and data pipelines that ingest, transform, enrich, and index large-scale company and person data.
  • Own system components end-to-end from requirements and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Write efficient, testable code meeting performance, scalability, reliability, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to architecture and technical design discussions, evaluate tradeoffs, and advocate for sound engineering decisions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback and mentorship to peers.
  • Support production systems through deployments, troubleshooting, and incident response.
  • Use AI tooling to improve development, testing, and delivery efficiency and experiment with LLM-powered platform capabilities where relevant.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and data science partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience, predominantly in backend systems.
  • At least 5 years of Java development experience, including production microservices.
  • At least 4 years of Spring Boot or Spring Framework experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Seattle.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with Kafka or comparable streaming platforms, PostgreSQL or other relational databases, Elasticsearch or comparable search platforms, large-scale data ingestion and enrichment, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP, RESTful API design, unit and integration testing, distributed systems, domain-driven design, service-oriented architecture, and AI/LLM tools.

Salary: $175k - $215k/yr
