Responsibilities

Research, design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and test operating systems-level software for electronic device hardware and semiconductor operations.
Develop embedded drivers, firmware, software tools, and automated tests for AMD systems and products.
Perform software verification and apply engineering principles to systems and product development.
Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design while working on complex systems-level engineering problems.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Two years of experience in the offered role or a closely related engineering role.
Two years of experience performing software verification; using C, C++, or Python; designing and developing automated tests; developing embedded drivers and firmware; and working with high-speed memory interfaces including HBM, DDR, or GDDR.
