Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain embedded C/C++ software for advanced compressor control systems.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers to develop, verify, troubleshoot, and optimize software and hardware solutions.
Promote requirements traceability, testing, documentation, version control, and software configuration management practices.
Provide technical leadership in embedded cybersecurity and support compliance with relevant industry standards.
Support embedded real-time systems, industrial communications, engineering support tools, automated testing systems, and production applications.
Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative culture focused on technical learning and engineering excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of software development experience with C/C++, including at least 3 years of embedded software development.
Experience with embedded systems, complex application debugging, and software troubleshooting.
Proficiency with development environments such as Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio, Eclipse, or similar IDEs.
Experience with Git or other software configuration management and version control tools.
Understanding of data structures, object-oriented programming, and database concepts.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
Preferred: experience developing C/C++ applications in Linux environments and knowledge of embedded Linux, board bring-up, kernel drivers, U-Boot, and multicore system-on-module platforms.
Preferred: experience with oscilloscopes and communication protocol analyzers, including I2C, SPI, and SCI.
Preferred: familiarity with software design patterns and industrial device cybersecurity standards such as IEC 62443.
