Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement automated technical solutions across multiple classified environments.
  • Build and troubleshoot GitLab CI and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
  • Create and maintain CloudFormation Infrastructure as Code templates for highly available, resilient, and secure DevSecOps infrastructure across AWS environments.
  • Analyze Linux system and application logs, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies for service degradation.
  • Provide security guidance on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO efforts.
  • Design secure Docker images and configure and optimize OpenShift deployments while remediating Prisma security findings.
  • Perform code reviews, share knowledge, maintain technical documentation, and guide junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly.
  • Certification satisfying IAT Level 2 requirements, such as Security+, GSEC, or SSCP.
  • At least seven years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or in a similar role, including infrastructure automation, scalability, reliability, and delivery across classified domains such as IL5 and IL6+.
  • Expert experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, SonarQube, and/or Prisma Cloud.
  • Strong scripting experience with Python and Bash in Linux environments such as RHEL or Oracle Linux.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Tier 1–3 customer support and ticketing systems such as GitLab Service Desk or ServiceNow.
  • Expert understanding of AWS capabilities and secure cloud infrastructure architecture, including EC2, S3, IAM, and RDS.
  • Hands-on experience configuring systems to comply with STIG and SRG requirements.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, common vulnerabilities, OWASP, NIST, and OpenSCAP.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate with global enterprise stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Salary: $156k - $216k/yr
