Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and implement technical solutions across multiple classification environments.
  • Build and troubleshoot GitLab and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and STIG compliance validation.
  • Create and maintain CloudFormation Infrastructure as Code templates for highly available and secure DevSecOps infrastructure across AWS environments.
  • Automate and manage production-grade Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters using Ansible, Terraform, and/or CloudFormation.
  • Analyze Linux system and application logs, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies for service degradation.
  • Guide development teams on secure coding, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and ATO efforts.
  • Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, IaC guidance, and technical documentation.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Poly.
  • Certification satisfying DoD 8140/8570 requirements, such as Security+ or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar.
  • Strong hands-on Linux experience.
  • Experience deploying and managing production-grade Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters through automation in on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
  • Experience with Ansible, Terraform, and/or CloudFormation automation.
  • Preferred experience with Helm chart development and STIGs.

Salary: $190k - $205k/yr
