Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy applications using foundation models, LLMs, and GPT-class or open-source models.
Architect and implement RAG systems using embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases.
Fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, and optimize models for quality, latency, cost, and performance.
Develop prompt engineering strategies, prompt pipelines, guardrails, safety layers, and hallucination-mitigation approaches.
Build and maintain APIs, backend services, AI-driven applications, data pipelines, and microservices.
Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to integrate AI capabilities into products.
Monitor, troubleshoot, test, and improve deployed AI systems in production.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 4 years of application or web development experience and at least 2 years working directly with LLM-based systems.
Required proficiency in Python and experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, model fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and model benchmarking.
Knowledge of AI safety, alignment, guardrails, and hallucination mitigation strategies.
Experience with SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and preferably React or Next.js.
Experience building APIs with FastAPI, Flask, or Django and working with asynchronous programming and microservices.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Exceptional candidates have built end-to-end LLM products and understand trade-offs between open-source and hosted model APIs.
