Sr ADAS Software Integration Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and decompose system-level ADAS requirements into actionable software tasks in collaboration with systems engineers.
  • Develop and maintain software integration pipelines for controls ADAS software and automate development and build workflows.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD infrastructure for L2/L2++ ADAS projects.
  • Design scalable software architectures for ADAS feature integration that meet functional, safety, and performance requirements.
  • Implement state-machine models for active safety, driving, and parking features.
  • Validate ADAS logic through unit testing, SIL/HIL testing, simulation, and in-vehicle evaluation.
  • Collaborate with systems, product, validation, platform, and controls teams to integrate ADAS features across the vehicle platform.
  • Maintain software design documentation, requirements traceability, unit test cases, and validation reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of software development and software integration experience.
  • Full-cycle software development experience with autonomous driving systems, from requirements through production deployment.
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python and experience with MATLAB/Simulink modeling environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and automated test frameworks.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across embedded systems and real-time applications.
  • Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience is preferred.
  • Experience with NVIDIA Xavier/Orin and Aurix embedded platforms and multicore debugging is preferred.
  • Understanding of Ethernet and experience with Vector CANape/CANoe are preferred.
  • Experience testing ADAS/AD features in simulation and real-vehicle environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of behavior planning, motion planning, vehicle control, safety-critical systems, ISO 26262, or AUTOSAR is preferred.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
