Responsibilities

  • Perform QA automation and functional testing using relevant platforms, technologies, methods, and techniques.
  • Analyze tests and acceptance criteria and maintain and improve BDD scripting frameworks.
  • Integrate and maintain CI automation tools and troubleshoot testing issues.
  • Conduct REST and SOAP API testing and validate data using SQL and database tools.
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams, communicate with stakeholders, and provide reporting.
  • Manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to a continually changing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3 to 5+ years of QA experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a full-time automation engineer.
  • Knowledge of QA automation platforms, functional testing methods, test analysis, acceptance criteria, and Agile software development.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, troubleshooting, attention-to-detail, teamwork, initiative, and time-management skills.
  • Preferred knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Jira, WDIO/WebdriverIO, JavaScript, Selenium WebDriver, Java, BDD with Cucumber, Jenkins, TeamCity, REST and SOAP API testing, Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with Scrum or Kanban, DevOps, reporting, stakeholder communication, BDD scripting framework maintenance, and CI automation integration is preferred.
