Responsibilities

Develop high-quality Android software using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Java.
Design, build, and maintain Android features and libraries for offline-first mobile applications.
Test and automate software to ensure robust, high-quality releases.
Prototype and build innovative features using new Android APIs and SDKs.
Provide technical expertise in feature design and maintain code and product quality.
Collaborate with developers and the user experience team to create usable mobile interfaces.
Solve challenging technical problems and help remove team obstacles.
Mentor peers and participate in internal mentorship opportunities.

Requirements

6–8 years of total professional experience.
Experience writing Kotlin and Java for Android.
Expertise designing, building, and maintaining Android features and libraries.
Proven ability to bring mobile software to market; an app available in the App Store for which the candidate was a key contributor is a plus.
Experience with C++ is a plus.
Ability to learn quickly and implement unfamiliar technologies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A strong quality mindset and ability to deliver features on time.
Experience working in large enterprise environments as part of a global team.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently as an innovative problem solver.
