Responsibilities

  • Use AI-powered tools for code generation, refactoring, test generation, documentation, code analysis, troubleshooting, and design acceleration.
  • Build proofs of concept and prototypes and apply spec-driven and modern AI-assisted development practices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain API-first and microservices-based backend APIs and frontend applications.
  • Develop automated unit, API, integration, and functional tests and improve coverage using AI-assisted approaches.
  • Apply secure coding practices and consider performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Deploy applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline and release automation.
  • Support monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, production issue investigation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with product managers, business teams, architects, senior engineers, and operations teams to deliver solutions and improve engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Hands-on software development experience with one or more of Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
  • Experience with at least one modern frontend framework, such as React or Angular.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, API-first development, OpenAPI specifications, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, or another relational database.
  • Basic to good understanding of AWS or another cloud platform, plus experience with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted coding and software development tools, including code generation, review, testing, documentation, debugging, or technical design.
  • Awareness of RAG, MCP, AI agents, prompt/spec-driven development, and developer automation.
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, automated testing, security, performance, scalability, and Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and continuous-learning abilities.
  • Telecom or communications-domain experience is advantageous but not essential.
