Software Engineering Intern, iOS in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship new features for Ramp’s iOS app.
  • Work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to the mobile codebase.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design to create new features and user experiences.
  • Use customer feedback to continuously improve the product.
  • Contribute to engineering tools and processes that help the team move quickly and scale.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, with graduation in December 2027 or later.
  • Experience with Swift and/or iOS development through internships, coursework, or personal projects.
  • Strong programming fundamentals and understanding of mobile development concepts.
  • Experience building a mobile app, feature, or relevant project.
  • Ability to turn product ideas into thoughtful engineering solutions.
  • Desire to learn quickly, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: experience with SwiftUI, mobile design patterns, or shipping an iOS app or feature to real users.
  • Preferred: exposure to Swift Concurrency, The Composable Architecture, Bazel, OpenAPI, or Buildkite.
  • Preferred: experience with web or backend development.
