Software Engineer Project Intern Security in USA

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to Security Data infrastructure projects, including testing framework work, data access layer migration, and developer productivity improvements with AI.
  • Help build core Security Data product capabilities, including asset data management and security governance modules.
  • Write automated tests, perform code reviews, and debug issues to maintain code quality and reliability.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or another STEM discipline.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Go, Java, Python, or C++.
  • Proven experience writing comprehensive automated tests, conducting effective code reviews, and debugging issues.
  • Preferred: experience building and optimizing high-throughput, high-availability systems and understanding performance tuning and scalability trade-offs.
  • Preferred: practical knowledge of backend security principles, including authentication, authorization, least-privilege access, and secure service-to-service communication.
