Responsibilities

  • Build software and products for Numeric’s accounting and finance platform.
  • Learn the accounting and finance domain and meet users to understand their problems.
  • Exercise substantial creativity and agency over product direction.
  • Find effective abstractions and solve complex, foundational problems involving financial data, automation, workflows, and AI.
  • Own outcomes beyond writing code by ensuring products solve users’ underlying problems.
  • Collaborate with a high-pace, high-integrity engineering and product team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Philosophy.
  • High motivation and agency.
  • Commitment to high-quality work and ambitious goals.
  • Preferred: experience building software in complex domains.
  • Preferred: fintech or accounting-adjacent experience.
  • Preferred: experience founding a business or building products from scratch.
